Don’t settle for any plastic tank that requires retro-fitting in order to properly collect rainwater. These rainwater harvest tanks are assembled specifically for helping you properly and easily collect rainwater. These tanks are designed with 4 Dome Flats on the top of the tank and 4 layout Flats at the base of the tank. These 8 flats surfaces allow you to daisy chain tanks together or provide flat surfaces for installation of additional outlet/inlet fittings, overflow fittings, float switches, tank gauges or other accessories. These tanks come with a stainless-steel mesh screen installed on the top of the tank and a rigid plastic cover. The tank screen is the rainwater entry point and its primary job is to keep mosquitoes and other debris out of the tank and allows a large entry point of pre-filtered rainwater to enter the tank. The tank also comes with an already assembled stainless steel mesh screened overflow assembly, outlet bulkhead fitting and a 3/4″ bulkhead fitting for a water hose spigot. The stainless-steel mesh overflow assembly is designed for directing overflow water during large rain storms while doubling to keeping pests & mosquitoes out of the tank. The bulkhead fitting is placed at a height that enables you to install a spigot and fit a watering can underneath for filling. Collected rainwater is technically non-potable. Do not drink collected rainwater without proper filtration. Please contact us for filtration options for your collected rainwater.
