Our line of vertical Emergency Water Tanks are the easiest and most cost effective way to store the most amount of water in a small space, and are perfect to store water inside your garage or other enclosed buildings to use as an emergency water supply in the advent the water grid in your area were to fail or become contaminated due to natural or man-made events.

Two Brass fittings are included with each emergency water tank; a 3/4″ Brass Spigot is located 14″ off the ground and off centered from the fill/drain fitting for ease in filling a 5 gallon bucket, pitcher or pan with water. A 3/4" Brass Ball Valve Assembly is located at the bottom of the tank to be used for draining and attaching a hose.

We recommend filling the tank with clean potable water and adding a water treatment solution to it for storage. When properly treated, water may be stored up to 5 years without the need to flush, clean and refill the tank. (see Aquamira Water Treatment).

This durable, heavy-duty tank is made from FDA/NSF Approved, Food Grade, BPA-Free polyethylene and has built-in UV inhibitors to avoid color fading and breakdown from harsh sunlight. Although this tank has UV inhibitors that prolong both its service life and helps reduce algae growth, the maximum water storage life may be achieved by keeping the tank indoors and out of the sun. Leaving the tank in the sun will greatly reduce the effectiveness of the water treatment and degrade the quality of the potable water.
Water is the most important commodity you can have in an emergency or disaster, after all you can only live you 3 days without water and as such water storage and water filtration should be at the top of everyone's preparedness list as an absolute essential.

Some thought should be given as to were to position the tank, you should make sure the floor will be able to support the weight of the tank when full. Water weighs 8.34 lbs. so the 150 gallon water tank with 150 gallons will weigh 1251 lbs (water) + 50 lbs (tank) = 1301 lbs. total.
